Megan’s Favorite Things: Stocking Stuffer Edition

With the biggest shopping events of the season coming up, I wanted to give you ideas of what you should be purchasing for that special woman in your life... I know that shopping for her can be difficult, but I want to make it easy on you! Whether she’s a mom or not, these will work for her!

All I want for Christmas is you

If she says this... It’s not true! Don’t fall for it.

Bombas Socks

No joke, the best socks I’ve ever owned. I have knee high ones for under my boots and am longing for the no show style.

Craft Chocolate

There are candy stores around... Try our friend, Google, for a recommendation. At Ridgedale there is a store called Lolli & Pops and it’s  adorable. In Excelsior, Truffle Hill Chocolates. Or, I mean... Godiva is excellent but not local. And if you still want chocolate but are limited on time, I suggest the sea salt caramel chocolates from Costco. They are very addicting.

Lip Gloss

This isn’t just any old lip gloss - it’s a gloss that is packed with antioxidants, vitamin A and Vitamin C. It makes your smile appear brighter and makes her feel fancy, even when she’s toting the children around. Oh, and then pair it with the best whitening toothpaste out there.... You’ll be out of the doghouse until Christmas next year.

Thieves Hand Sanitizer

I’ve started using this about a year ago and now I’m obsessed with it. I like that it fits nicely in my purse, doesn’t dry my hands out (it’s got aloe in it!), and it effectively eliminates common, harmful germs and bacteria. If you wanted to really win her over - add a bottle of Thieves and then get her a diffuser!

Color Street Nail Strips

When you don’t have time to get to the nail salon, or don’t want to spend so much time letting your nails dry... These are a great option! Made with real nail polish and don’t require dry time - count me in. The petite size is perfect for the littles in your life!

Goodr Sunglasses

I didn’t know these existed until I polled a group of women on what their favorite sunglasses were. I’m all about cheapy sunglasses that I can toss into my purse or the diaper bag but sometimes.... I like to wear shades that aren’t scratched and sit straight on my head. These are on the lower price end (think 1/4 the price of RayBan) and there are lots of patterns to choose from!

Bath Bomb Jar

I’m a bath junkie. I love to take a bath on Sunday nights, it helps me refresh for the week ahead. I’ve tried lots of different bath bombs but I’ve found that the ones I like best aren’t really bombs at all. It has the same outcome as a bomb but it comes in a jar! Also, supporting a small, woman owned business... CHECK.

Dammit Doll

Honestly, I don’t have one of these but I think the concept is hilarious, they are made with beautiful fabrics and are a great conversation starter.

Jade Roller & Face Masks

Pairing these two are all the rage right now. In addition to my Sunday night bath ritual, I also use a hydrating and replenishing face mask... Because after a weekend of “partying” I need to really boost myself (and rejuvenate my skin!) for the week that is ahead! As far as the jade rollers go - you can spend more or you can spend less... Just Google them.
